In May of 2018, Redemption Church relocated its headquarters to San Jose, California after 30 years in Greenville SC. Redemption took over Jubilee Christian Center of San Jose formerly pastored by Dick Bernal who after 38 years of pastoring retired naming Pastor Ron Carpenter his successor. On December 31, 2020, Redemption launched its East Coast campus in Greenville SC which has already grown to 750 in attendance. Pastor Ron devotes his time to both East & West coast campuses and his Kingdom preaching is streamed live to a global audience every Sunday.

Who would have thought, when in 1973 “student” Sam Chand was serving Beulah Heights Bible College as janitor, cook and dishwasher that he would return in 1989 as “President” of the same college! Under his leadership it became the country’s largest predominantly African-American Christian College.

Additionally, the church reaches people around the world through its television ministry (seen on Hillsong Channel three times a week and on Daystar every Monday, to over 450,000 weekly viewers), ministry app, ministry database, YouTube channel, speaking events, conferences, and Hope Carpenter Ministries, where Hope travels to minister to women all over the world, including the Dominican Republic, Pakistan and Argentina.
